Product Manager - Outerwear, Sportswear and Apparel

Join their fantastic team as a Product Manager - Outerwear, Sportswear and Apparel Influence product development of innovative rider gear solutions such as food delivery backpacks, outerwear, and accessories.

The ideal candidate has solid product development skills, textile industry knowledge, and a great understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes. Activewear/workwear/outerwear industry background is a must-have.

What you will do

• Tech Pack Development: Translate prototype designs into comprehensive specification packages, detailing technical aspects, stitching, seams instructions/codes (and their accurate sketching), bill of materials (BOMs), and construction details. (Requires understanding of TEXTILE bag construction, padding, lining, and also of TECHNICAL Materials, and waterproofness levels.)
• Product Specification Accuracy: Create and update BOMs throughout the project lifecycle, especially as projects transition to bulk production.
• Prototype Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Supply Chain Team to ensure prototypes adhere to technical specifications. Generate sample comment sheets for both internal and external use.
• Prototype Analysis: Review product prototypes and raw material samples using images, videos, and physical samples.
• Construction and Aesthetics: Offer proactive suggestions for enhancing product construction, aesthetics, and manufacturing processes.
• Supplier Collaboration: Maintain daily communication with manufacturing suppliers to address and resolve technical development questions with a focus on Chinese Suppliers. Giving instructions to suppliers about top-notch quality seams and construction technical sketches.
• Material Research: Stay updated on technically oriented material research, new technologies, workmanship, and EU textile product regulations.
• Cross-Functional Meetings: Participate in meetings, analyze focus group results, and contribute to surveys targeting our users (the riders) to gain valuable insights for the Product Development Team.
• Target user conscious: We are very user-focused so this needs to be considered. (e.g. ergonomic design, neat finishings, etc.)

‍Skills & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design (Outerwear/Apparel) or Garment Technology.
• Experience: 3+ years in Product Development/Technical Services with a strong portfolio.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Google Sheets or MS Excel, and garment construction.
• Language: Business-level English both in writing and speaking. Spanish is an advantage.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Setup: Mandatory 3-days in-office presence
• Advantageous: Experience with licensing and 3D modeling (e.g., Clo3D).
